Managing Director

While most children dream of being superstar athletes, doctors or astronauts, Pinnacle’s Managing Director, Tim Williams, knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. And what was his father’s profession?  He built one of the largest and most successful staffing firms in the country and was in the industry for 40 years.

In those days, many Executive and Contract Recruiters would record their calls and interviews on cassette tape. Tim remembers being hooked on the industry when listening to those calls.

“I would sometimes sneak into his room, get some of the tapes and go back and play them on a Fisher Price tape recorder,” Tim said.  “I was hooked from that time forward.  Though I was too young to fully understand, I KNEW my dad was impacting lives for the better.  Ever since then, I eat, sleep, and breathe this business.”

Early in his career, he joined his father’s staffing firm where he worked with Pinnacle co-owner, Brad Tyler.  Now, after more than 25 years in the staffing industry, Tim is helping lead a staffing firm that’s built its way onto the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies.

“After meeting with (the owners), it was clear to me what I wanted to do,” Tim said.  “I attribute that to one word, GROWTH!!  I have made a career out of scaling staffing firms and helping them growth both organically and by merger/acquisition.  After learning of the success Pinnacle has already had, coupled with their growth plans, I knew I wanted to be part of that.”

Tim enjoys the staffing industry because no day is the same and regularly informs client companies that the most expensive employee is the one that isn’t there.

“Having all your positions filled will pay you back 10-fold what you will ever pay us,” he said.

Tim stays busy outside the Olathe office spending time with his wife, three children and two rescue dogs. He enjoys taking his boat to the Lake of the Ozarks, hunting, fishing, golfing and has a long bucket list that includes attending a Super Bowl, marlin fishing, cage diving with sharks and learning to play the guitar.

Perhaps he can use that same Fisher Price cassette recorder to record his songs!

Jodi Lang

Director of Field Support

Jodi Lang has been in the business over 30 years starting out as an in-house, temporary at as her first job in the industry being a recruiter and moved all around the US had many position how many positions to get to VP level traveled quite a bit in her career, worked in many different market sizes from small towns to large cities markets Received several awards and recognition over the years for sales and performance profit.

This industry gets in your blood. It’s very rewarding to give people jobs to see them succeed

It’s also very rewarding that over the years in the industry I have gained a lot of great relationships with clients, that I still remain friends with throughout the years

My greatest love is the charity work I do for a local organization that supports families called the St. Louis Crisis Nursery I’m very involved in their events and raising money to support the local nurseries to protect children and keep them safe and warm and fed

This industry has taught me so many things, and it definitely not a boring job. Every day is different no two days are the same and obviously every year is different given what’s going on in the economy and that keeps me moving I took a step back due to some family issues and nursed my parents as they were aging, and after they had passed away, I went back to work in the senior industry, which was also very rewarding, but really really missed being in this hustle bustle and what I love about Pinnacle and what’s brought me here today is the exciting opportunity andthe culture

When I’m not working in my spare time, obviously doing the charity work, makes me happy traveling the beach with my husband enjoying long walks on the beach and sunsets on the beach. I’m married to John lang of 24 years and together we have three Pomeranian furbabies.


Kelly Tyler

Director of Client Services & Recruiting

One of Kelly Tyler’s go-to sayings is, “It’s all about people.” Connecting with folks, celebrating one another, encouraging & fostering growth; that’s what feeds her soul. With a bachelor’s degree in business management and 20 years’ experience in staffing, recruiting, sales, and client services, Kelly listens carefully to understand organizational needs, such as culture and budget, then partners up to help tackle specific business challenges. When Kelly is not recruiting or working with clients, she loves spending time with family, friends & traveling. She has two awesome step-kids, who she adores and Kelly’s uniquely close relationship with their mom leaves many intrigued. At any given moment you can walk by her listening to rap, country or even Disney music. Kelly’s energy & positivity is contagious, her authenticity is impossible to deny. One phrase you’ll most definitely hear Kelly repeat is, “LOVE YOUR LIFE!”

Jackie Vogt

Director of Human Resources

Jackie Vogt is a professional veteran in the HR arena, experienced at all levels. Having worked mostly in the banking industry, Jackie has developed and nurtured a love for human resources and feels blessed she has been able to practice it for so many years. Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, which beautifully goes together with human resources. Understanding and practicing HR disciplines, with great importance on discretion and confidentiality over the past 30 years, Jackie has developed a strong, trusted reputation and is a respected resource in the HR arena. She often says it’s a unique position to take care of people’s hearts while taking care of business and Jackie has a proven record accomplishing both. Jackie enjoys attending church functions, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys watching her grandson play football!

Casey McLenon

Sales Director

Casey is from a small town in Northeast Kansas and attended Emporia State University to study Marketing, Rugby, and Social Gathering Theory in the mid 90s.

He has 25 years of sales and sales management experience.  His sales role have always been B2B sales and solutions sales focused.

Casey began his career with Pinnacle Staffing in April 2020 with a focus on defining sales process, building sales skills for the team, and growing sales profitability.

He’s been married for more than 20 years to Michelle, the best 3rd grade teacher in the Midwest. They are extremely proud of their 2 young adult kids. Aidan, 19, is a Marine working on the East coast currently and Adyson, the most independent Junior at Freestate Highschool with a plan to become an elementary school teacher in her professional future.

His hobbies include Golf, Music, Sports, Real Estate investing, Art and Photography. Dogs and Children trust me and I can bake 30 minute brownies in 20 minutes…Let’s go!


Jill Ray

Executive Recruiter

With more than 30 years experience in staffing, recruiting and talent acquisition, Jill knows first hand the challenge and persistence it takes to find top quality talent. She grew up in rural Iowa on a family farm and learned quickly the importance of a strong work ethic. She fell in love with the recruiting industry as she worked with both client companies and candidates to facilitate successful placements. She shares the same excitement today as she did then in making an impact with her clients.

Her extensive experiences comes from working on the front lines in the temporary staffing industry, internal corporate recruiting and now as executive recruiter at Pinnacle Employer Services.

Cesar Sanchez

Director of National Accounts (Hospitality)

Cesar Sanchez has more than 25 years of leadership experience with roles in hospitality operations and large-scale food distribution.  Prior to coming to Pinnacle, Cesar worked in South Florida for Starwood Hotels at different properties before transferring to the Midwest where he joined different hospitality management companies such as TPG Hospitality and JQH Hotels. He has also worked for different brands such as IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, Westin & Sheraton. At Sysco, he held a leadership position where he managed and controlled sales and operations of 400+ restaurants.

Cesar joined the Pinnacle Groups family in 2020 and has quickly built a reputation as an expert in the hospitality staffing arena here in Kansas City. His next challenge is to expand Pinnacle’s reach throughout the U.S.

Married for over 30 years and with 2 wonderful kids, Cesar and his wife Jenny enjoy traveling to exotic destinations all around the world and enjoy trying new restaurants.
